Slow Food Rochester aims to produce a dramatic and lasting change to the regional food system to ensure food equity, health and enjoyment! We focus on
- making local food more accessible, connecting consumers to our diverse and sustainable regional producers and distributors of foods.
- increasing public awareness of the economic, political and environmental impact of Slow Food
- partnering with local and national activists and organizations working for change in our food system
- sponsoring fun and educational events that build community around food
